Turkmenistan exports cotton and cotton yarn to the foreign market

Following the auctions held on July 1 at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, a total of 4 contracts were concluded. The total financial volume of the valid transactions amounted to 7,164,000.00 manats and 3,121,370.00 US dollars. Trade operations in this area were carried out with the participation of representatives from both domestic and foreign markets. Business circles from Turkey and the United Arab Emirates showed high activity in the trades organized with foreign partners. They signed mutually beneficial agreements to purchase high-quality cotton fiber and cotton yarn in large volumes from Turkmen producers. On the country's domestic market, local entrepreneurs conducted mutual transactions. They successfully completed trade operations for the purchase of raw silk, which is a product of the "Turkmenyupek" Open Joint Stock Company.
