Turkmenistan's design art and national brands will be widely presented at the "Who’s Next" international professional fashion trade show, held in Paris, France, from September 5 to 7. According to the International Trade Centre (ITC), four designers and brands from Turkmenistan will present their new collections to global fashion industry professionals at booth "W10" in the "Ready-to-Wear" section. At this world-class event, designer Mukaddes Ibragimowa, alongside representatives of the "Binaym", "Desert Heritage", and "AYM" brands, will display their handcrafted works. Mukaddes Ibragimowa will showcase corsets, jackets, and trousers made from ikat, denim fabrics, and delicately embroidered silk. The "Desert Heritage" brand will offer products crafted purely from natural materials—hand-processed silk, cotton, linen, and camel wool colored exclusively with natural dyes. Other exhibition participants will also present impressive works combining national motifs with modern design. The "AYM" brand will feature hand-embroidered linen items inspired by the historical heritage of ancient Nisa, while the "Binaym" brand will introduce a collection of denim products integrating traditional Turkmen craftsmanship through patchwork techniques. The participation of Turkmen brands on the international stage is carried out with the support of the International Trade Centre and funded by the European Union. The "Who’s Next" exhibition in Paris offers a great opportunity to introduce the rich heritage of Turkmen textile traditions and contemporary design solutions to the international audience.
