Deals worth over 78 million manats and 2.7 million dollars concluded last week at the Exchange of Turkmenistan

According to the results of the exchange trades for the 30th week of 2026, several major contracts totaling 78,093,000.00 Turkmen manats and 2,746,800.00 US dollars were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan with the participation of foreign and local entrepreneurs. High demand for products of the agro-industrial and textile sectors was maintained throughout the week's trading. In the foreign market, business representatives from Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan demonstrated high activity. Turkish entrepreneurs concluded deals for the purchase of raw silk and soapstock amounting to 724,000.00 US dollars. Additionally, companies from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed agreements with Turkmen producers to purchase cotton yarn worth 1,139,500.00 US dollars, 438,900.00 US dollars, and 444,400.00 US dollars, respectively. On the domestic market, large-scale transactions were carried out by local entrepreneurs. Businessmen of our country concluded contracts for the purchase of cotton fiber from the "Turkmenpagta" State Concern for 75,033,000.00 manats and cotton yarn from the Ministry of Textile Industry for 3,060,000.00 manats, once again proving the strong demand for domestic production.
