Modern projects and new runway shows — "Turkmentextile Expo 2026" turned into a true celebration of beauty

The international exhibition-fair "Turkmentextile Expo 2026", which is one of the largest and most solemn events in our country, began its work in Ashgabat. Organized in the spacious halls of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this review has turned into a true celebration of beauty, clearly demonstrating the achievements and innovative potential of the national textile industry to the global community. The official opening ceremony of the exhibition venue took place with the participation of high-ranking officials, diplomats, and foreign guests. The Congratulatory Message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants was read out at the ceremony. In his address, the Head of State specially noted that combining the rich cultural heritage of our people with modern innovations further increases the competitiveness of Turkmen brands in the global market. The pavilions of the international exhibition fully reflect the performance of the public and private sectors of the economy. The eco-friendly clothing under world-famous trademarks such as "Nusaý", "Bedew", "Gala", and "Bürgüt", displayed by the structures of the Ministry of Textile Industry, attracted the attention of consumers from the very first moments. Furthermore, high-quality fabrics from the recently opened Babadayhan and Kaka textile complexes, and shirts from the "Ýeňiş" garment factory became the adornment of the exhibition. The recent report that our silkworm breeders prepared more than 2,100 tons of silk raw material proved that the silk industry is also rising to new heights. Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs are also demonstrating high activity in their turn. The modern products of private enterprises "Batly gadam" and "Gök saraý", the "Beg Ýüpek" economic society, as well as the elegant carpets of the "Abadan haly" enterprise, which amaze with their beauty, signal the great potential of Turkmen entrepreneurship. Along with this, modern genuine leather footwear and new accessories from "Röwşen" and "Muhammet-Balkan" enterprises won the interest of numerous guests. The international level of this year's exhibition is even higher. Around 100 major companies producing textile equipment and chemicals from Italy, Turkey, China, Germany, and the USA are participating in the event. They express great interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the Turkmen market, which shows high growth stability. The most exciting and festive part of the fair was the fashion shows featuring designers. The outfits prepared by the Ashgabat Fashion House, as well as world-famous designers from countries such as France, Morocco, Russia, and Uzbekistan, made a great impression on the audience. The harmonious blend of our national embroidery art, included in the UNESCO list, with modern cuts opened a new chapter in the fashion world. Ashgabat city, which entered the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the "Design" category, once again strengthened its position as the beauty and cultural center of the region through this event. Within the framework of the exhibition, not only new products are being displayed, but master classes, bilateral meetings, and scientific conferences are also being organized. The international exhibition-fair, which has currently turned into a platform for business relations and the conclusion of new contracts, will continue until June 6.
