International exhibition-fair "Turkmentextile Expo 2026" opened in Ashgabat

On June 4, the opening ceremony of the international exhibition-fair named "Turkmentextile Expo 2026" was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. This large-scale event serves as an important platform for demonstrating the latest achievements and new products of the textile sector of our national economy, and for establishing new mutually beneficial business relations with foreign partners. This was reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" electronic newspaper. The official opening ceremony of the international exhibition-fair, held in the morning, was attended by the Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the Government, and heads of ministries and department structures. Representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organizations accredited to our country, public organizations, and mass media were also present at the event. During the ceremony, all attendees listened with great pride to the festive Congratulatory Message sent by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the "Turkmentextile Expo 2026" international exhibition-fair. In his Message, the Head of State noted that currently, great attention is paid to combining national heritage and noble traditions with modern innovative technologies in the textile industry. Along with increasing the artistic value of Turkmen textile products, this principle enhances their competitiveness in the global market. The President expressed confidence that the international exhibition will make a great contribution to the development of the sector and the strengthening of cooperation with foreign countries. Following the opening ceremony, the gathering closely acquainted themselves with the various colorful pavilions displayed at the exhibition. Around 100 leading companies supplying textile equipment, dyes, chemicals, and raw materials from different countries of the world, alongside enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, are participating in the exhibition-fair with their products. The international exhibition-fair, which brings together the newest products and projects of the national and international textile industry, will conclude its work on June 6.
