Silk producers of Kaka district aim to prepare 20 tons of raw silk cocoons

In the Kaka district of Ahal province, great importance is being placed on tasks related to the preparation of silkworm seeds, signing contracts with cocoon producers, and preparing silkworm rearing houses for the season. The district's silk producers aim to rear 548 boxes of silkworms and prepare 20 tons of raw cocoons this season. They are approaching each stage of the preparatory work with a sense of responsibility. This year, 151 tenant silk producers will care for silkworms across the district. To date, contracts have been signed with the tenants, and the preparation of houses with a total area of 43,840 square meters for silkworm rearing is being kept under special supervision.
