The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the country's women on March 8th

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated mothers, women, and girls on International Women's Day. "Our women are actively involved in the successful implementation of the objectives outlined in national programs and in implementing reforms for the benefit of the people and the country. They do tremendous work to continue the unique traditions of carpet weaving, embroidery, kurta, don, and tahya sewing, and knitting—arts that have roots dating back thousands of years and have been perfected. Women in our country are actively involved in public administration, science and education, healthcare, sports, culture, the oil and gas, construction, and industrial sectors, transportation, communications, agriculture, and trade—in short, in all areas. Our mothers and women, whose lips are filled with prayers and kind words, make a significant contribution to strengthening the individual's ties to family, society, and the state. Preserving centuries-old family values, they play a key role in raising the younger generation—the pillars of our homeland—in a spirit of high patriotism and national pride. "In our blessed Fatherland, reverence and respect for girls, daughters-in-law, and dear mothers, as delicate as flowers, are held in very high esteem," the head of state noted. "Once again, I heartily congratulate you on this wonderful spring holiday—International Women's Day, which embodies the beauty and harmony of the world! I wish you good health, longevity, a happy and prosperous life, and great success in your endeavors for the continued prosperity of our sacred homeland—our native Turkmenistan!" "May the faces of our dear mothers and women—the support, pride, and honor of our sacred family hearths—always radiate light, like a beautiful spring," the President emphasized in his congratulatory message.
