"Ömürlere dowam berýär eneler": creative competition announced in Ahal velayat for International Women's Day

On the occasion of International Women's Day, which is celebrated annually on March 8th, the branches of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan and the Trade Unions of Turkmenistan in Ahal velayat and the editorial office of the velayat newspaper "Ahal durmuşy" announce a creative competition entitled "Ömürlere dowam berýär eneler". The purpose of the competition is to demonstrate the contribution of women to the prosperity of our Motherland, to celebrate their skill, morality and upbringing, their role in preserving the family hearth, as well as to increase women's interest in artistic creativity. Every citizen of Turkmenistan can participate in the competition with their essays, articles, artistic works, poems, and poetic works. The works should reflect the place of women in society in the new historical era, care for them, noble traditions coming from our mothers and grandmothers, their teachings, as well as women's handicrafts, relations between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, daughters-in-law, and receiving guests. Competition participants must send their works to the editorial office of the velayat newspaper "Ahal durmuşy" (city of Ashgabat, Independence Avenue—100, Turkmenbashy Center for Free Creativity) or to the editorial email address (ahaldurmushy-gazeti@sanly.tm) with the note "For the creative competition 'Ömürlere dowam berýär eneler'". The winners of the competition will be announced by a jury, which will be formed by the newspaper "Ahal durmuşy", the branches of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan and the Trade Unions of Turkmenistan in Ahal velayat. The winners will be determined by the jury on March 5, 2026 and awarded certificates of honor and special prizes on behalf of the branch of the Trade Unions of Turkmenistan in Ahal velayat. The best essays, articles, and artistic works submitted to the competition will be published in the newspaper.
